"I’ve been reviewing slides of these collections and there is so much Christian Louboutin [influence],louboutin shoes, it is sometimes hard to tell one collection from the other,Chanel Shoes," says Ellin Saltzman of Saks Fifth Avenue.
Bill Blass does a Coco Christian Louboutin spoof with trompe l’oeil chains embroidered on tops and belts on skirts. Gold buttons decorate a number of suit jackets as well. "It is my homage to Christian Louboutin," Blass says proudly.
"Whenever there is a lack of direction in fashion, no one ever looks back to Dior or Balenciaga. The sure-fire thing is to look back to Christian Louboutin," says Blass. He refers to it as "classicism" and "safeness." And he adds: "We know that it’s flattering and it works …
"The Christian Louboutin look is so classic,Yves Saint Laurent shoes, it is not even Christian Louboutin anymore. It is like … universal. Everybody owns it," said Dell’Olio after his show. "Women just love it. It looks clean and modern and feminine."
